Nice Composition..

I think this is shot straight up, but it's taking some time to figure it out. Interesting lines and circles. The reflected circles look like they have fire coming out of them, which may be the outer space part of the title.

Unique and abstract... lots of interesting shapes and lines, with just a few splashes of color. I can't figure out what it is or what the perspective is, but that's what I like about it! :)

03/13/2009 07:46:58 PM
looks like a scene from some Space Odyssey - nice image...
03/13/2009 06:22:15 PM
Awesome point of view and wonderful clarity. My only complaint is that you didn't use the full size allowance. This one has a great deal of detail, so every added pixel would only serve to make this one more appealing.

I don't know how many times I've paid the cash to go to the top to get a good sunset over Kobe from the top. I've got a similar picture unfortunately mine has Carp streamers going across the bottom of the picture because I took mine around 'boys day'...nice entry.

Im still trying to figure out what it is. hahaha. But I like it. Its like an abstract.

Wow! I really like the leading lines of the building towers on either side of the image that makes our eye travel up to the center of the image. The center has the circular shape that invokes the idea of the sun and in fact there seems to be a reflected image of that repeated in the sides of the buildings on the right and the left. Radiating from the circular structure is what looks like solar flares or heat rays from the surface of the sun. It is not as noticable on the center image but much more noticible on the reflected images on the building primarily because they have a darker surface to really showcase the 'solar' heat. I don't know exactly what structure I am looking at but this is definately one that speaks of outer space and construction of a space station. Most assuredly this was taken on terra firma...earthbound...that fact that it just screams outer space is a nod to the photographer with a good eye to spot this. Very surreal image too.

Wow. What am I looking at? Looks like we are looking down into a foyer of a building? Reminds me of the movie Event Horizon. Very space orientated.
