The picture was taken while on a morning walk with my niece, Reema. The idea of the walk was to get up early in the morning,take a walk around the sea-shore, and take some nice picture of niece(bhaanji, as it is called in India). It so happened that I miscalculated the sunrise, and we were there one hour before the sunrise.
This picture came into place after Reema pointed out to the trees and remarked: Look Mama(materal uncle), the birds! After some time I got busy taking some shots of the birds. It was still quite dark, the sun rays had barely started filtering in.
The colors of this shot come as much from the street light as they come from the sun. The picture was taken in ISO 400 and was quite dark. Cleaning the noise and upping the brightness a bit, and perhaps some sharpening caused some artifacts in branches, which some of you have noted down.

| Overall, I like it - nice colors for sure. But, there is something strange going on with the branches and some grain/noise in the background. Especially in the darker blue area - that I can see anyway. |

| I like the smooth transition of colors in the sky. I think you oversharpened as there is a very visible halo around the branches and birds, which drastically reduces the quality and becomes even distracting. |

| Love the rainbow sky. Silhouettes also work. Sun corner is a bit blown out though, and there doesn't appear to be a central subject. |
