 Some crop. Small piece of rope cloned out. Processed with Nik Silver EFX Pro followed with some levels adjustments and a blur layer applied to the background and some of the foreground. Resize and smart sharpen. Taken with an infrared converted point and shoot camera (probably not relevant to the end result).

Wonderful capture.The compostion, focus, tones, shadows and textures all work so well. My only thought would be to take a little of the room off of the top...to focus the viewer more on the subject. Perfect for the theme.

The photo is excellent and should go over very well for the challenge. I think the only thing that could improve the photo would have been (if possible) to have left more dead space on the left. What do I know? 8

This is a good capture and some great expressions there! I like the sepia effect, but I feel that the colours are somewhat weak.... maybe a bit more contrast and a boost in saturation would have been beneficial to the shot.
