I like the contrast of light and dark areas on the water here, but the water itself isn't particularly attractive. Might have been nice with a touch longer exposure to give it a softer feel. Mind you, can't blame you if you didn't want to hang around too long setting up a tripod, looks cold!

This is going to be a postcard. Very beautiful and powerful shot. But I think the bridge is much more of a feature for this challenge than the shadow, which although quite large, is less noticeable than the structure and the white roiling water and snow.
