A departure from my typical leaf shot. Used the rectangle tool and divided the shot and desaturated after adding the text with a manuscript brush.

This looks like you had the paper there to begin with. I like it a lot. That is inspiring!!

Oooh. I really like this, particularly the choice to do the half page thing, and the way the text drips over the leaf that creeps into the text.

You added all that? Amazing and beautiful. Looks as if the leaf is writing the letter, which is so cool!

This is very evocative. Not being able to read the writing - what language is that? makes it all the more so. The script is beautiful. I need to find out more about manuscript brush.

Interesting effect with this. I do feel its a bit busy, but it kept my interest and made me want to know more about the writing.

Nice nice - great how it graduates from color to BW with the script - very pretty.

Awesome job with the blending! I too like that you pulled the leaf into the text and desaturated it.

I love the combination of the vivid colors and desaturation, and that brush is wonderful! This makes me giggle, because I created my first one of these ever this weekend myself :-)

Beautiful! The transition may be a bit abrupt, but it's still a stunning image. I expected the text to be hidden behind the leaf, it was a suprise to see it continue over it (neither good nor bad, ok more good than bad)!

This is a really neat effect, I like how the leaf leads right into the text. I never heard of a manuscript brush before, but now I'm off to find one.

Love the colors in the leaf. Cool idea with the writing. What does it say?
