 I'm going to indulge myself further and share another fractalius image. Sometimes it just lends itself to the subject. I added the sparkle with a preset brush I have like the ornament picture.

That is a great brush. It really puts in the magic. I love the shades of blue.

Yes, it starts with just one tiny spark...

Love the cool 'electic' blues in this composition. The addition of that one little sparkle to the tiny bulb held between two fingers adds the 'magic' to your capture.

great image judy .. brilliant processing .. i thought the star was real, which only goes to show you're a whiz with those brushes too .. :)

i just wrote that bit and then scrolled down to see other comments, and there's pat saying exactly wot i said about believing in magic .. lol .. :)
