I like how the rust runs down from the subject. I like how the photo is divided by the vertical line, and you placed that line in a great place to balance out the photo. I like how it's not devided directly in half. focus and clarity are really good, and lighting seems to have been really great as well. Overall interesting to look at, definately rusted, and good for the challenge. good find. ~Heather~

The lines of the door and it's screen frame, and the siding make for an interesting line study in themselves, Throw in the old thermometer and you've got a perfect subject on a great background. Very well done!

Very nice exposure on the lights and the darks.

good picture, but the space to the right is distracting

No wonder it's always cold, if the thermometer's stuck. Get it fixed. Nice shot. Glad you resisted the temptation to centre the instrument. Perhaps there is a shade TOO much blackness on the right, but I think it works.

Liked: Good photographic qualities and photographer skills apparent. Color of rust on thermometer. Colors of wood. Small area of reflection on window. Rusty nail heads. Bleeding of rust on wood.
Disliked: Amount of negative space and overall balance.
All in all, an 8.

fabulously confident framing, except perhaps too much space in the bottom half?great pic

nice shot, but too much negative space with the black. i think you should have framed the composition tighter.
