Hello from critique club :)

5.0 little low for this. I thought it was some prints on sand or something. Nice lights there, very interesting. B&W I think one of the things killed it. Burn area on the leaf also point taker.

Technically nice, compositing is nice. You know this is not a top of the line photo, but you did good job. You came up with something interesting. My first entry was 4 something, so, you already did good start.

Keep on practicing and entering challenges, I have a feeling you might get a ribbon soon :)

looks like a really kool sand inprint but may be a paper towl? nice shot i like the textures and the comp is well thought out.

paper towel, tissue? I've never felt that paper product make good macros. I've tried to photograph them, and have had similar results.
