| Oh bless her... she looks like a lovely young girl with a coy smile for everyone. The light and colour feels dull and flat though. Intentional maybe? If so, I think it spoils a little. |

| I'm not marking down for this, but I wonder if this is actually an abandoned child, or a child belonging to an impoverished family, which is of course quite different. |

| I swear I had a dress just like that when I was growing up, and I loved it. I like the way she's peeking around the corner a bit. Without the title, though, it wouldn't have really represented abandonment to me. I don't think the pic reflects the mood of abandonment in a straightforward manner. |
