Am I the only one who didn't know this was yours? ;) I thought it was pretty special and the title is cheeky-cool-clever.
Over 200 tons of pigeon poo? Where'd it go? lol |

Too frickin funny that this DID turn out to be your shot! Great focus on the bird and love the use of negative space, and the dof with the distant church spire really adds to the shot. Great capture Deb! |

Deb - loved this the moment I saw it (and read the title). I wasn't sure at first if it was you - but the spire looked German, and there was a Pigeon sitting happily in the shot - I mean c'mon . . your finger prints all over it :- )
Genuinely a shame this didn't score better - but you must have got the highest number of fav's in challenge - and that's pretty impressive ! |

Ha! I knew it as yours - but was too chicken to post it. What I loved about this was that it was more than just a shot of an animal. There was some kind of story to be told, and it was up to the viewer to decide what was going on. The black and white treatment is very fitting for the mood of the shot. |

This is a photo that appeals to me enormously. It is almost as though there is nobody but me the viewer and this pigeon in the whole world - hard to articulate, perhaps I should leave trying, and just say a photo that leaves an impression. |

Would work better if the bird was facing the camera, but not alot you could do about that :) |

This is really amazing. I love the single word yet play on words title. I love the rule of thirds, and everything is in just the right place for me. Great b/w too. My only 10! |

What a wonderful gothic type image. That wouldn't happen to be an image by Zueszen would it? I love it. |

My pick for the red. Excellent photograph. Maybe a bit more separation between the bird and tower whould make for a stronger composition. |

Don't know what it is exactly but this shot appeals to me a lot. The simplicity and mood it conveys maybe. Something about that lonely solitary pigeon. I like your title too. |

Great eye, love the repeating forms here, and a nice job of capturing the pigeon in its natural environment. Good luck. 8 |

Who would have thought that a shot of the back of a pigeon would be in my top three, but it is. This is such an evocative picture. Love it. |

Really unusual, especially in that it presents us with the pigeon's backside. And yet I really like it. It makes it seem as though we're sharing a moment with the bird, looking at the same view it's seeing. I like it a lot. |

ahh, only one photog here could have taken this and made the connection between a pigeon and religion! b/w works well here esp with the lighting and subject. 9 (and not just because you're Deb!) |
