This was a real bad summer here for flies. Thanks for the memory - I can feel them biting my ankles now.
As far as the banding, to me it seems more of an issue in 8 bit vs 16 bit. |

These things are amazingly ugly and yet make for stunning Macro photography, am I the only one that finds it weird that ugly things often make for really interesting subjects when in a photo?
Great shot, and nicely done with the cover up, other than a tiny halo around the rear foot I would never have known. |

"common house fly" - he wouldn't be that common if he flew near to Art's house, I've seen what happens to the insects there :- )
Nice composition here. |

WOW that's another great insect close up macro from you Roz. Awesome detail and textures on that fly Roz. Gosh you are so GOOD at macro shots, especially of insects, like bees bugs, flies and your famous dragon flies,
Peter caught some lady bugs for me, strange color up here, as they are yellow and black. I have them in the fridge to quieten down so hopefully they will not fly away. I will no kill them as I LOVE Lady Bugs.....
By the way, do not go to fast with adding your macros as you get to 10 before everyone else does. I love to add more, but we have a limit of ten, so we must stick to the rules. |
