Yeah - this shot is tanking. I figured it probably would. Blurry and sensor dust. I was shooting to late in the day so I needed to bump aperture to something like 14 to pull off the shutter speed. And as you can see - my sensor aint clean.

But for some reason I really enjoy these types of images. The advanced edit of this I find extremely pleasing - and odds are will become a print for my wall.

And yes - my girl loves to swing.

Posthumous liked yours better than mine... Did you tell them to clean the sensor while they're fixing the shutter??

Would be more effective if her (?) head or face at least were in focus.

This looks like a Too child, but is not overwhelmed by personality like certain photos ahem... so you get a score from me. It's a shot that's been done before but this is a really good example of it and done with minimal editing, no less. You're really getting the hang of this camera-ma-bob. 8

I think this would work in the abstract emotion challange too. Great job!!

the angled motion blur, the dreamlike quality, the polka dot pants, the blurred child and swing - i think it all works nicely - too bad someone does not know how to clean their sensor ;-)

The background works really really well - better than the child on the swing. If you had panned and got the child in focus, this would be really good.
