O.K. concept but not that original. |

Composition is good. I would have reduced the depth of field so that the dense bush behind was more out of facus, thus forming a very interesting backdrop and being less recognisable. The light on the rock is a problem as the boy is in shaddow. SOme extra light on him by some means would have then emphasised him more than the rock. The bright patches ont he rock currently draw attention. |

Nice composition, the diagonal of the rock continues with the diagonal of the person pushing it. Don't know if this is on purpose or not, but it looks good! :). |

Looks like your subject is really trying. Perhaps a closer view, with a shot of the facial expression would help here. |

I love how this looks like your subject is attempting to move the rock off of the path ;) :-D |

Where is the creativity? The framing was done well. The exposure is a bit off. The shadows in the background are extremely dark. There are several hot spots on the rock that need to be brought back. The position of the model could be modified to show an expression of strain on the face. |

The dark backgoround spoils this a bit. |

Nice composition. Ok then an extra point for the subjects effort looking real. |

The lighting is a wee bit dull on her but it serves to enhance the size of the boulder by drawing your eyes up to the light on it, in my view. |

Nice composition. The domination of the frame by the huge rock communicates the idea of being immovable very well. |

It might have been a nice idea to show the face of the individual with a strained look on his face to reinforce the effort going into this but good idea for the challenge.

Looks like he is actually pushing. Photo is lacking is sharpness and tonal adjustments that could really make the it pop. |

When I view this image I think about the why of pushing stones that are impossible to move. The futility of life rears its ugly head and I'm depressed. On the other hand, humans love challenges even those they are doomed to fail. Is this image pessimistic or optimistic? |

Nice photo. He is certainly taking on an insurmountable task with that boulder. |

It is a good composition... it just might fade away in the presence of many similar shots. Good technically, lacks originality and the 'essence' that appeals. |
