 Found this little guy at Lowes, and immediately thought "Purple!"

I took this with the 13mm extender on the 50mm 1.8, at f/20.

Yes, the 300WS strobe was at max.

Processing included RAW conversion, Linear contrast curves adjustment layer and resize. Add border and SFW. No USM.

My only complaint about this one is the slight OOF on the right hand blossom, but with the very shallow DOF, this was the best of the shots I took. I thought about cropping it out, but I like the composition better with it in.

Congrats on a good challenge score with this. I like the little rim of light around the edges in this, as well as the exposure level not being too high. The amount of shadow helps a lot with composition in having enough detail to enjoy the overall image.
The title is more than a mouth-full LOL.
