Processed using an action called "Super Fun Happy" that a crack dealer Timfy gave me. Note that it has pigeons in it. (The picture, not the action. Best I can tell, that action won't add pigeons to your picture.) :-)

Post challenge: Another definite "Nope!" from the voters. I'm good with that.

A B&W of a different frame:

Very nice point of view. Lots of little details to look at in the frame.

Your pigeons are very underrated! Classic Deb shadows and lines!

This is awesome, Deb! I LOVE the lines. LOVE them. Did I mention LOVE??? I think the runner is perfect too. Beautifully done, as usual. And I had given you an 8 during voting by the way. ;)

Hook me up with your crack dealer! I love this pic and the processing! Very nice!

Ha - I thought this had a Melethial Mood to it! Love the balance to it. Not a shoehorn at all. And imo, 'Definite Nope' starts at 4.4... so at 5.3, I'd say you're in 'Hmm..' range. (Plenty of 6's and 7's there too!)

This is the type of photo I love. A photo that uses real life to create art -- rather than the set-up shots. I'm sorry the voters gave it an average vote. . .but then, if I like a photo, I have learned that the voters generally do tend to not like it :(

heh! I thought this might be yours. And i meant to come back to it of course. Look at all those walkies wannabes. Working with parallel lines is definitely part of algebra 101. Oh well. At least you have a pretty picture to look at :D

oh crap. I was one of your 9s. If I'd given out ribbons for this challenge, you'd've gotten one! It's a toss-up between this one and that goofy Archimedes photo.

I love your description. I'd would not sniff any plugins or actions that Slippy gives you, however. This didn't come up for me in voting though I would have likely 5'd it. Not sure. Maybe there is just a lot else going on in the frame that draws me away from the parallel stairs as the subject. There's also a slight curvature to the upper level of the stairs that (for me) interferes with the impact of the straight lines.

I think this was a tough challenge to shoot for. A lot of folks did like yourself and shot architecture to convey the math used, or the geometric shapes.

Nice! Would love to see a black and white.

A bit of a stretch for the challenge. Compositionally, there are two competing subjects. I like the POV and urban feel of this. Maybe black and white?

See, Deb, this is one of my favorite shots so far in voting. But, of course, I can't vote.

Great composition, and the figure at the top adds nicely. Overa all I really quite like this.

I had to scroll down to see the title and in doing so cropped out the runner. I prefer it that way as it emphasises the lines of the steps more.

An interesting image. Plenty of action but the lines dont catch the eye.
