I just read the description on your 'IMHO Award'. Excellent...can I give you one? I totally loved this photo and I still get a great laugh out of it. I thought it was brilliant!

Critique Club Review
Color Saturation and Hue: Hues are realistic, skin tones are natural.
Brightness and contrast: Brightness is good, contrast comes across as a little low, as the blacks look more like charocal grey. Most likely because of the processing.
Focus and depth of field: Focus and depth of field are good, post processing has introduced softness to the image.
I get a kick of of this image. I probably sat here for 10 minutes trying to think of something to say. It just leaves me almost speechless. In the end, I'd say that I think this one is a bit overprocessed. Even the cord holding up the sign is bleeding into the surrounding area. And, while you were going for, it seems, the wild look... The processing around the eyes makes you look angry or downright mad. (Either definition of mad would fit.) The disembodied hand also puts me off a bit.
Other than that, congratulations on a quite humerous take on the challenge. Very creative and original. |

You know, I really thought this photo would be appreciated a lot more and would have scored very high in the rankings. I still crack up over it. Ok, so it's not the best quality but the set-up is great and it's certainly not 'bad' quality. Holy Cr*p - it's cracking me up! 'Speed of Chucking' HILARIOUS! Can't you just see Einstein and his Theory of Relativity? Maybe it's just that people didn't realize or have never heard the old tongue twister 'How much wood would a woodchuck chuck'? You should do 'Sally sells seashells down by the seashore some time'! Anyway, the answer to 'How much wood would a woodchuck chuck' is - just as much as a can could can cans! Dang, I'm losing my mind that photo is too freakin' funny!
For those that never heard it, here it is:
How much wood would a woodchuck chuck
If a woodchuck could chuck wood?
He would chuck, he would, as much as he could,
And chuck as much as a woodchuck would
If a woodchuck could chuck wood |

God bless, I can't stop laughing... |
