I like the flower and the blue base. The background's distracting, though, and I don't see the blue color working well with the rich red/purple of the curtain. Did you try the same subject against a solid curtain?

Nice one. Maybe just my monitor but it looks like the flower is almost glowing which is cool. Background is a little distracting.
