Obviously, a few folks thought I was only showing the ends of a huge horseshoe magnet, but that is not the case. You are seeing two magnets that attached themselves to a metal bar, which was hung from a ladder. You can barely see the lines of the metal bar in the photo. These are fairly small, but powerful magnets. Anyway, thanks to all for your great comments and votes.

Cool shot, nice setup, great composition. I think it would be better with the background more blurred though. (further away? less DOF?).

What a great shot! The 2d feel is really great.

Wish I could see more of the magnet. As it is I really just have to take your word for it that those are the ends of a magnet and the wrenches aren't just glued together.

Very attractive. Like a strange metallic insect. Good idea, and well illustrated

very nice picture, I think I would like it better if you could see the magneet to (hope this is the right word for it)

wonderful exposure -- I think I'd like to see more of the magnet since it's "part" of the effect.

Nice idea but flawed by blown-out highlights. Shiny stuff is really hard to shoot.

Great idea and very nice black & white. Perfect print with good crisp whites and deep blacks. Textures nice but would like the wood a bit sharper. Finally the small whitish area on the center crack in the fence at the top detracts just a bit. Still overall an exceptional image.

Hey cool stuff man! I think the lightning could be worked on a little better, or the contrast, good job though :)
