It's pretty much, exactly what I want... though I know it won't score high. I like it and it stirred something inside of me.

... or maybe I should just stop drinking wine while editing photos. LOL

Yes the oversharpening is on purpose and I was trying to recreate a certain mood, I'm sorry... well not sorry per say, but there were a lot of people that didn't pick up on it. Which is fine, I like the shot anyways.

Looks a lot like a movie I saw (late) last night, "Teenagers From Outer Space" -- nice use of extreme tone range and (possibly) oversharpening to create a particular mood.

I generally like b/w photos, but I honestly think this one could have used a little color.
