I took this photo from inside the Eaton Centre (a large mall in downton Toronto) looking out the window towards the Canada Life building with its blinking beacon. I used PSE2 in editing it, and because the upper part of the image was somewhat overexposed, since I'd been forced to shoot into the sun to get the shot, I did some selective "repairs" with the backlighting tool + the levels and brightness/contrast tools. I also used "variations' in an effort to give the sky a bit more colour.

Looks too much like a snapshot to me. Loss of detail in the highlights in the sky, converging verticals in your window frame caused by not pointing the camera straight ahead, This could have been fixed by using 'Perspective' in Photoshop. The overall shot needs more contrast IMO. It looks like you were aiming for the window panes to be symmetrical, but the right hand panes are too small here.

Nice to see another familiar Toronto building... good shot! you handled the exposure quite well. 8

neat framing, but the sky and subject are kind of dull . . .

Nice; would have preferred a crop on the left (the other building in the foreground).
