 Had a tough time figuring out anything which wasn't horribly boring and might meet voters' expectations. Won't know if I've succeeded till voting ends ;-)

Not actually a big fan of Japanese beetles and their destructive activities but at least in this instance they're munching on a weed. Or were, till they decided to take a break ;-)

PP - converted from RAW, cropped, dodged/burnt bugs, colored little yellowish spot on leaf green, added border, resized, sharpened with noise reduction.

Quite an aesthetic munching march behind the interlude. Ditto colorc on challenge interpretation.

Oh I think this should have scored higher. Of course it fits in! Love how people assumed that the point of color also has to be the dominant color of the photo. The two bugs were the first thing that caught my eye. Nice catch!
