| I like the layers of contrast here--light/dark, wet/dry, water/stone. The composition is nicely done. I might have thrown that twig outta the way, and might want to see the brightness of the stones dropped just a tad to reveal a touch of texture. You nailed the water, with a clear view to the stones under it, though, and basic rules may limit this. But later, a little burn on the dry stones might be worth a look. I like the under exposed trees--dark enough to retain an abstract feel to this composition & forms, but hints of trunks so we know what it is. 7 |
