Another rainy day. These commoners infest like weeds here. Some cropping. Did a whole bunch of stuff in both Irf and the Gimp, including some tiny dodging, USM, denoising, and a neat move with curves that really brought out the top daisy and its droplets. However I suspect my monitor is overbright (can't turn it down further) so this may be too dark, though I tend to like dark.
Taken with son's FZ5.

Thanks for comments/feedback. I think "muddy" captures the essence of my misgivings, and may well be exacerbated by backing and forthing btwn sharpening and noise reduction.

I like the water drops. They are so bright and clear. I really miss the color though, I don't think this converted well to b&w.

I like the composition. The whites do seem a bit dark though.

Nice composition and lovely capture of the water drops.

I'm not sitting at a calibrated monitor at the moment, and the shot looks a little bit muddy, blacks not black enough and whites not white enough . . but that might be different on my normal screen.

still a nice composition though

The droplets on the upper flower contrast so nicely with the lack of droplets on the lower. This would have been a good entry for the partners challenge *one flower protecting the other from the elements*

I really like the detail, and the contrast between the top one (all bright and cheerfully curled) and the bottom one (looking flat and solid and supporting the flirty one).

This is a nice sharp shot. I like the way you brought the light out on the upper one to accent the droplets. The brightness is about right on my monitor. I can see some detail in the BG, and the highlights through the drops are near full scale white and bright.
