| Uh oh - this is going to get "monitor calibration" comments. It's never safe to enter something so dark because many monitors will see it as TOO dark. For me the hat (is he wearing a hat?) and everything above his eyebrows is completely dark except for a hint of hatband. (yes, I can see all the gradations of the darkness scale) |

| I like the sharpness and exposure. The black and white conversion is really well managed, but I'm not sure about the negative space on top. I would prefer a square crop with the eyes in the upper third, it would make a stronger composition IMO. |

| His hat blends a little too much into the background, you should lighten it so it blends, but stands out. |

| I'd like a little rim lighting on the hat to make it stand out from the background, and I think the shirt detracts from the subject a little. |
