 This was the boat I saw when I suggested the "Boats" challenge. I actually wanted to shoot another grounded boat, the Point Reyes on the shores of Tomales Bay near Inverness, but couldn't make it out there this week. So I decided to go back to the beginning, as it were, and grabbed this on the last day of the challenge. Interesting to see how it goes.

Just got a copy of Lightroom, and this is edited entirely in that program, with only a resize and a light USM in Elements after the fact.

Looks quite desolate. I think I would like the midtones lightened and then saturated a bit to provide more contrast with the decrepit boat.

Seems a wee bit dark to me and a bit overprocessed for my tastes...but what a wonderful job in composition!
