POst Challenge:

Thank you everyone for all your comments. I totally agree with the model not popping. He sort of blends into the background. My PS skills are not that good to be able to make him pop in basic editing, so if anyone has any suggestions as to how to make him pop in basic and PS let me know please. I am trying hard to soak up as much info as possible

I think you did a great job here, Juliet. It looks like a film photo from years gone by. Your model is indeed VERY yummy ;-)

I am really surprised (and pleased) in your giant leap in ability that you have shown in such a short period of time. Exceptional sepia portrait!

I thought this was a fun picture to see. What a gorgeous model! I agree with what everyone else said about the lighting on the model. What amazing scenery. Love the sky. Very nice job.

Wonderful photo. Gorgeous young man, dramatic pose, beautiful setting, and terrific PP. I just wish I could see his feet. Congratulations on the good score and high placement.

Like a beefcake photo from 50 years ago! Not sure if this is meant to be humorous or not. Photo seems dark to me. Wish the model popped a little more from the background (sepia is okay choice, but color might have helped).

Not convincing. Looks like he's looking for the fireman, the cowboy, and the cop. Sorry.

He almost seems like a statue from how still he looks like he's standing

Nice shot, Juliet - interesting to see you went for a different one, and here the duotone works nicely in your favour. The one thing that lets in down IMO is the flat lighting on the subject itself but the clouds are brought out awesomely for a basic editing challenge. Well done! (no vote)

sepia is a little dull, and maybe a little more contrast would make him look less wax-like
