This shot was taken for the honour of Lily Grace N.
editing steps"
it was HDR from 4 photos,
turned to black adn white,
dodged and burnt, bulged and sharpened ,
thats it

So, lol, this went into validation, came back as a Yes it cleared, a month later it was DQ'd. Just a slip up. SO the majority rules that you can use the liquidizer tool, BUT not too much, for me the downfall was the cape, I bulged it out too much.
SO less is more!!
Going to add the story now. LIlly died at 24 weeks. I went out to shoot a shot just for her. This was it. I loved how it captured the light at the end of the tunnel, the man with wide open arms, almost angelic. My own personal best shot ever. A mixture of almost hand drawn and photography together. Very very proud of this piece.
I showed it to my parents before showing it to my brother and sister in law (their baby) and they both recoiled in horror and said I was amazingly stupid for wanting to give them a picture of a naked man.
So they never saw it.
But to me, it is still a Master piece. Truly my best work

You may not use distortions to create new effects or radically alter objects (in this case, the cape). |

Really nice work Juliet. The vertically elongated crop adds to the feeling. |

Juliet, you're fast becoming one of my favourite photographers. Superb concept and skilful editing combine to make this a work of art. Keep up the great work and don't let scores deter you. |

Very good, Juliet. I'd love to see this in a huge version on a wall. The web doesn't do it justice, nor does the stupid score. |

How do you come up with these ideas? This is so dramatic and phantastic.
Dramatically underrated. |

Like the cover of a sci-fi or fantasy novel. Nice elements here, from the hole in the sky to the smoothness of the cloth. |
