 I had tried this a few times before and it is a result of the light painting challenge. The bouquet was set to the front of my shooting area and the lights 3 sets of multicolored decorative lights swung in a pendulum motion behind the flowers. Having tried and failed with total darkness I shot this during the day with natural light from a window and the flourescent kitchen area light on. This allowed for a shorter shutter speed so the lights would not be too blown out or real busy. The lighter colored flowers used in this also helped, I think.

One swiped across the entire image (2500 pixel brush) 10% exposure midtones burn.
Resize.

In my view this does not really fit together, the motion blur striped don't really add to the picture, they don't enhance it, the light on the flower is so different it alsmost looks from another picture. Sorry.

Not a bad idea but the yellow flowers are pretty green here and not really in focus. The colors in the background are appealing and your idea was good.

Combination of EL wire (neon string) and spring flowers. Nicely thought up and executed but for me it does not impart Motion Blur. If the flowers were sharper and the EL wire OOF maybe a hint would have been there ~ sorry a 4

I love this shot! Very imaginative and creative. The saturation on the flowers seems very dull though, and lets this down from being a potential number 1 IMO.
