I think this would have looked better if the silver coin had been in focus |

Interesting lighting effects. I wish the bright highlight were on the "out of place" coin, to draw attention to it. Better focus would also help. |

Out of focus and the lighting goes from too dark to too light. Too bad, as it was a good idea for the challenge. |

Too bad it was not a bit more in focus. Remember to check your entry after you submit to make sue everything is "right" Good luck in further contests ! |

Good idea, but so badly out of fucus you're probably getting very low scores. If you have a manual focus or macro mode on your camera you should use thos on a photo like this to get a better focus. |

Good idea, needs better focus. |

all fuzz-needs some focus |

The focus is definitely not right here. Next time, take your time and take more shots until the focus comes out better. The idea is fine and fits the challenge. The light source could be softened to avoid the harsh refelctions. |

A great idea, but it is way out of focus. Perhaps try the macro setting on your camera and pull back just a bit? |

It's a shame to be out of focus... Otherwise a nice picture |

Good angle but terribly out of focus. |

Way too blurry, never submit a blurry picture won't do you any good, hope it was just an over look on your part this time |

Poor focus detracts considerably. |

Out of focus - try using macro mode |

It really needed to have the silver coin in focus. |

This would be far better if odd coin was in sharp focus. |

this picture is SOO blurry and out of focus you should not have entered it. |

Great idea, but there is tough competion out there. This one needs to be in focus. Good composition though. |

completely out of focus, and the focal point of the image, the quarter, is not the focal point of the image. sorry |

You can't be serious thinking this is a decent picture to enter for a challenge? You truly need new glasses or to invest in an auto focus camera. |

Would be better if it were in focus. |

surely something should have been in fous? |

this photo is so badly out of focus that it ceases to have any meaning. Sometimes lack of focus is intentional (like in Motion blur) but here it is a bad error. get this in focus and you start to be in contention for an average or above average score. |

interesting idea, but the whole shot seems to be out of focus. bright penny in the right corner is distracting as well. |

Hum, looks like an OOF world. Did you not want anything in focus here? |
|
|
03/31/2004 04:26:07 AM |
Too blurry (not sure if it was intentional?), I'd have given this image a couple extra points if it were in focus or had appropriate DOF (depth-of-field). The bright highlight on one of the coins is distracting to me. I like the concept and the layout though! |

would've been more effective if it was in focus |
|
|
03/30/2004 10:04:13 PM |
The glare off one of the pennies is very distracting and the fact that the shot is out of focus hurts your score. |

A macro should do what macro should do... you need a sharp area on any picture. |
