Sandy, this past year I had family portraits done at this location. The photographer was the photographer that did our wedding 20 years ago! We got a great family shot in the "hall" you have from the other challenge hanging in our living room. This was a great place for pictures and we ended up spending a ton of money getting all the prints.
This is a wonderful place to take pictures... good job. |

OK, well lets look at the facts before I say anything
You - 44th 6.1824
Me - 193rd 4.6467
OK so now having established my credentials, I gotta say that whilst I really like this shot compositionally (but do prefer the outtake) there seems to be something just a little off about it
I think it make be the dome and the sky which just seem a little fuzzy but for some reason attract my eye more than they should and means I dont get to concerntrate on the beautiful sharpness, texture and repetitive pattern of the arches (which are by the way magnificent)

| wow sandy .. you've really caught an amazing sense of time here in your photograph/process ... shame it didnt do better in the challenge .. but i've just been going thru it and i must just see things differently to most of those voters ... there were some very ordinary and pretty boring entries that beat this and in my humble opinion were nowhere near as good ...:) |
