 First entry in a long time. Taken in the car with my new(ish) 30D while my wife was looking for Easter eggs.

I like the shallow DoF from the f1.8 50mm and the almost metallic colour, but I have the feeling this will go the same way as all of my last few entries - low, low, low.

Never mind - I do it for me, not you ;-)

Imo, this stretches "pattern." There is a loose "sameness" which is part of the definition of a pattern, but I think it is almost to loose.
