| My problem here is convincing myself that a textural element could also be a pattern. In an abstract sense you do have a pattern. Several, in fact, and not only are they random, they are abstract. Guess I just talked myself into a decision. |

| I like the pattern, but there is not as much detail showing as I would expect. Your vertical size is 100 pixels less than it could have been for this challenge. A full 640 pixels would have probably gotten a lot more detail in there. |

| the lighting here flattens the image, may have worked better if shot more from the surface of the rock. |
