If this had been taken from a lower angle it would seem more intimate to me.

And Mom's face could be more sharply focused. A good snapshot of a happy memory, though.

The intimacy is there. But the busy background and harsh lighting take away from the concept and move the photo into more of the feel of a snapshot. Put a solid color sheet in front of the furniture behind the the models and I'd bet the photo would be a stunner!

I love the idea. I can't get over the idea that the girl was pasted in, even though close attention shows it wasn't.

The concept and quality of the photo is wonderful. It would have been helpful if the background was simpler.
