 I really struggled with this challenge and had decided not to enter, then 2 hours before the challenge deadline I was in the backyard and saw these holes in the fence and decided to give a go. Recruited my daughter to go into the neighbors yard and peer through the fence.

Nicely done. I'd like to see a smaller knothole just large enough for the eye, but I suppose you have to work with what you have. I think a closer crop would be better.

Nice focus on eye, excellent idea. The green is a bit distracting, I would have tied it back maybe.

nice idea a good pic. I think a tighter crop on the area of the knot hole might have helped this shot.

I like this - I think it fits in with the idea of the challenge nicely, and is well lit and executed.

I wonder if a different crop would make it even stronger ?

Fences are what fences are, but the knot in the slat right next to the peek hole takes a lot away from the image. Perhaps if you could have poked through a bit and placed on eye in each hole, it would have worked better.

This works overall. Could use a little spicing up with a boost in contrast and some controlled burning of the edges.

Nice shot. If I was being picky I would just say maybe it needs a tighter crop. I don't think the trees add any value to your photo. They seem to be more distracting than anything else.

Normally I'd say this could have been composed better. I find the eye isn't where I naturally look and the plant to the left is very distracting.

However this works with the theme I found myself looking aimlessly around the picture then stumbling across the eye, having a peekaboo moment.
