This shot immediately came to mind when I saw the challenge. Admittedly this is a rush job and probably could be better given more time. I'm pretty happy with it given I only spent about 1 hour on set-up, shoot, and processing. My old EMS training paid off a little and I got to do a little self-bandaging. I also had to break out my ole XT for this one so I could use the remote. I gotta get a remote for my 30D

Shot in RAW, USM, little dodge and burn and clone out of a stray hair. Levels, save for web... done.

I gave this a 9...I wish more of the face (Eyes mostly) were visible. I understand that you're suppose to be Darkman, but having your other eye in the shot would've helped a bit and having them just a bit brighter. Add to the the slightly blown portion of the jacket. Still, for overall effort and the final result, 9 is still good I think.

I love this shot, very clever idea and a unique way to go for this challenge. I like the lighting, its just enough to see him and whats going on, yet its little enough to keep some mystery.

fantastic. I am a scifi fan. This was a rendition of the character. fits the challenge perfectly and not too much color can be seen. 9
