 Hand-held @ 1/30 using my Bigma (Sigma 50-500), focal length 280mm. Starting to like this lens! Actually, it's quite heavy, which helps IMO and combined with the Sony IS keeps things fairly sharp at lower speeds.

This is truly gorgeous. Excellent use of shallow DOF and perfect light. I especially love that wee wisp of hair.

A nice picture, but I think the fine hairs above/left of the eye detract from the image.

Love horse and like the this one is looking at you. Perhaps a square crop though as I find the area left of the mane to be distracting.

Either you or the animal jerked slightly when you pressed the button. I love EVERYTHING except for the movement. I'd like to see this tried again. It has a lot of potential.

The clarity of the horse's eye brings emphasis to it. Also, the foreground and background balance each other.
