Good to see you participating again, Beau. During voting I wondered where I had seen this guy before... Took me some time to figure out the title, now it's too late - not easy for non-americans to get the correct pronounciaton. |

Nice composition. I find the reflection in his eye to be distracting. |

This is an amazing portrait. I just don't get the title though with the picture. I love the BW on this one, the softness dissolving into sharpness of his eye and whiskers. Handsome bloke 8 |

Well done love your tonality here it is dead on. The (2) white spots on his eye are a bit of a distraction, don't know if they are dead pixels or what but they distract from the image somewhat. |

very very nice, I just wish that the eye wasn't obscured by the soft box (or whatever that is). |

I don't think I get your entry, with the title =s... but it's a hell of a good portrait, I love the hat, the jacket, the black and white conversion, the grain, and the eye contact is very strong! |

Intense stare, but I'm not getting it. |

Absolutely intense. A very strong image. I love the b&w conversion, the light, and especially the beautiful line of the hat. |

Good soft lighting. Seeing the soft box in his eye is a little bit distracting and I know that there is probably noting you could do about that. |

This is a nice composition and nicely lit model. Wish I understood the title??? |

Great photograph- without the title, don't get the misunderstanding. Let you photo speak the challenge, not the title. |

Nice image, I think of the "Undertaker" when I see this. Good lighting and focus on the eye, 8. |

Nice portrait, great lighting, nice focus, great composition.... but I don't see how it has anything to do with misunderstanding. |

Well done portrait. I like the lighting and pose. Not really certain where this fits the challenge theme??? |

Beautifully lit, great expression by the model. Very moody, its all good. Downside? The catchlight obscuring part of the eye. Minor point though! |
