A very cute and engaging subject. I'd like to see more focus on the face and perhaps higher contrast; the tones are a little too similar. |

always gotta love b&w portraits. this one could be helped with some increased contrast. looks pretty flat through the grayscale spectrum. the focus could be sharper also...mainly towards the eyes |

Looks a bit too noisy, which I don't find to be flattering for this beautiful boy. |

that heavy line thingy in the background that hits him at the collar is a real distraction |

Nice capture. Perhaps a little more contrast might improve the presentation. Resetting the black point so the blacks are "really black" instead of a dark gray might be worth trying. |

KInda flat with a distracting background thing behind his right shoulder. There's not enough contrast here. Cropping is nicely done yielding a good composition. |

Nice smile and looks very happy
I think the focus is a little soft I am not sure I like the pole or slide? in the background for a portrait but I like the image
Its a very relaxed style which suits the child |

Nice boy, I like his expressions. :-) I would crop from the bottom, though, the pattern on his T-shirt is a bit distracting and on some areas, the T-shirt and the stuff in the bacground is overexposed, lights have blown out. A little bit contrast could have been applied here, too. Maybe there is a bit graininess, too, but I like it. :-) My Olympus does it sometimes, too. |

I really like how you captured the charm of childhood here. My only suggestion would be to increase the sharpness and contrast slightly - it looks a tiny bit out of focus, but contrast would make it look sharp. Good luck! |

Nice capture. Little too greyish. More contrast would have been right on. BOL |

Happy healthy looking boy. The decal on the shirt is a distraction as is the post in the back. Maybe a tighter crop? |

Soft gentle tones for a soft gentle portrait, nice diagonal pose. The background, especially behind his right ear, detracts a little but who cares? |

I think this is a cute shot, but a bit blurry for me. |
