 I wasn't going to enter this, but as poorly as my "good" shots have been doing lately, I wondered if I could do any worse.

I was shooting for something else, and wondered if I could get a pan shot, so I shot this. I was surprised that it came out so well, but will be equally surprised if it scores above 4.5. But if it beats 4.1 (which it may), it will still do better than my shot that actually took some thought and effort. *sigh*

Car is nice and clear, but the tree in the foreground is a little distracting.

There is too much background, which draws your eye away from the subject which should be the focus. The picture would be better if the background was blurred more.

A longer shutter would give this a stronger sense of motion. Try making it long enough to allow the car's wheels to blur and it will have a more effective pan feel rather than just feeling blurry.
