 this extremely attractive irridescent fly stayed on the tree for nearly a whole minute while i took photographs of it .. thats pretty amazing considering they usually dont stop for long at all.
i've combined some cobwebs, as an overlay, that i took on the firetrail a couple of months ago in different blending modes ..

this is the original fly which has been processed thru my raw program for the exposure coz it was extremely dark .. hence the grain ..
the original & another view of the same fly ..

Haha looks like the stupid fly stuck its head through the middle of a spider web! Did I mention I hate flies with a passion!That said it's still a pretty cool image :)
