 used this photograph of a dragonfly i took yesterday .. flipped horizontally and scaled ..


and used this composite of two photographs of spider's webs that i took about a month ago on the firetrail as a sort'v overlay ..


after i'd processed this and saved it for web i realised i should'v placed the dragonfly somewhere else in the image .. i think i put him there coz of dark shadows behind him .. i fixed the shadow problem but forgot to move him to a more compositionally pleasing place .. would'v been much better if i'd got him all in and not chopped off his wing as well ..

I love this Roz, the colours are so vibrant and rich. Your dragonfly shots are great. I was trying to shoot some over Xmas and the darn things would settle for more than a second. Drove me crazy.

Actually, I like the fact that the wing is cropped on the right. It gives me the feeling that the dragonfly has navigated the webs and is flying out of the danger. This is a really cool photo.
