Thank you to those who commented. I came up with the idea and tried it right before the challenge deadline. Technically, this is a poor photograph, I think the model needs to either be in focus or more out of focus, and I never did get a drip of wax falling off the candle. The model was supposed to be looking down below the candle in expectation of what was about to happen off screen. I decided at the last second to submit it to see what people thought about it fitting the challenge. Interestingly, I got almost equal comments both ways. |

interesting take on the challenge...her look says its going to be hot but she likes it..the crop is good...this would be great in b/w with the candle being red...i'd like to see more from this series |

I don't see that this shows that anything "off-screen" is being expected. Doesn't do anything for me. |

the expectiation is ON screen in this pic. Should be OFF screen/frame. |

Nice capture of a "moment". And yes I want to see outsid ethe border of the photograph. Good submission to the challenge criteria. |

I'm not sure that it's off screen expectation, but then actually.... perhaps it is! Made me say ouch!! |
