the angle of the street works well, I think it would've been better with the sticks cropped out of the top |

one of the better dog photos...at least your dog appears to be looking at something...good composition...maybe could have edited out the leash |

There is too much empty space around your dog. to make this an interesting photo. Consider taking the photo much closer to add interest. |

Excellent shot. Maybe too centered. I would have liked to have seen a different angle that included part of the dogs face. |

I really like how the leash leading to the right and the dog looking straight ahead create two points of interest off-screen. It's such a calm picture but there's clearly conflict. :) Technically, it's not very interesting, but I rated it high because I really am curious what is off-screen in two directions! |

Good theme interpretation. Too bad the leash is in the shot. It is a disctraction. But you know the dog is looking at a squirrel or something. |

Nice perspective. I wish the dog were centered, though, instead of just barely off. The contrast is a little flat. |

i like the idea but i would like to see you come in closer to elminate the mundane street and grass. This would be nice in black and white with the contrast levels upped a bit. |

More colorsaturation maybe or how would B/W with more contrast look like? Cant say it fires up my imagination about whats happening of-screen. |

Quite a fresh idea here in this image..but for me the angle of view needs altered to make the effect stronger.
The dog is your subject and I would have preferred to see it fill most of the frame and probably taken from the left side and a little to the rear. This would have eliminated all the unnecessary clutter but kept the interesting angle of view. A shallow depth of field would help too.
Hope this is helpful. |

Sorry, but there isn't much "off screen expectation". Maybe a view of the side of the dogs head with a focused glance on his/her face would better convey the message. The colors are pretty bland as well. I think the dog could have made a good subject, but the presentation here is lacking. |

nice picture. after the challenge, you may want to consider cloning aut the leash, or whatever it is. |
