My new CD-Burner really rocks, don't you think? It's 454x!

This is a 6 CD-R tower I don't use very often, and so I risked the top drive. The photo is pretty much as shot; shot under a single work light and the light of the flame. Converted from raw, levels adjusted, USM and reduced, no editing per se that I recall (adding this note post challenge).

Excellent take on the challenge!!! Extremely cerative and clever. I notice that yourdrive is also being burnt as well. Hope you were using an OLD CD drive that you didn't care about!

I hope no equipment was harmed in this stunt, and glad you found a better use for the Windows installer disc! If you had shined a light on the scene, the flame wouldn't have been as blown out.

Wow, that's a little brave! I won't even asked what happened after the picture was taken. Anyway, nice capute of color from the base of the flames.

good composition and capture of the flame. Ilike the play of lines vs the round disk and rounded flames. Hope your equiptment is still in running order?

I suppose you had to make this a rather fast exposure, no? Good job.

Nice visual pun. I think you could have used more ambient light perhaps - just to amphasise that tower a touch more.

'K, so my idea wasn't entirely unique! I thought of doing my shot this way as well, but I didn't have an old burner to burn, LOL. Nice job!

Very creative... The fire is a bit overexposed and lost a lot of it's color unfortunately, but WOW.
