Yes, it is a toy :) I tried to make it look like as real possible, but still keep the toy feeling since the subject line says it is so :)

Thanks for the comments, and votes, good or bad :)

Lighting is dramatic at the expense of seeing more detail, which is OK with the subject. Might work better "off-road" so the tires don't look so flat.

Lighting is a bit harsh, and the flat two-dimensional angle doesn't bring out the from of the car. Just a 4 from me.

Wow what a beast, beautifully photographed.

I wish the lighting was a little more evenly lit across the length of the entire vehicle.

i am not sure about the choice of composition - the angle really doesn't draw me into the image very much and reinforces the really boxy feel of the car (albeit a toy here)

Another model, I've never seen a model used in a car advert, CGI maybe, but not a model. I think the intention of the brief was to photograph a real car in some situation or other and not do a still life which is what this essentially is. Lighting has made it very specular and not evenly light, you have a real hotspot in the centre which tails off quite unaturally towards the edges.

Nice crisp shot although the wheels perhaps could have done with some slight dodging. Possiblt a little 'flat' in terms of the composition and it may have been an idea to rotate about 45 degrees in PP to have created a leading diagonal that crossed rule of third points 6

not too clever to shoot a toy. light is very harsh, wheels and ends of the car are too dark.

Interesting shoot of the model. Technically well executed. Im looking for the more 1:1 scale car's in this competition. IMHO -5-
