Hello from the Critique Club:
Since I couldn̢۪t vote in this challenge, this is the first time I̢۪ve had a chance to look at your image. My first impression was that this was a nice image of a car and that it would probably score around a 5.5. I think that the image meets the challenge well; however, it does have that used car ad feel to it instead of the new car ad the voters were expecting. I̢۪m not sure what time of day this image was taken but shooting when the sun was a little higher might have provided a bit more dramatic lighting. Overall, I think the comments you received covered most of the things about this photo that kept it from scoring in the 6̢۪s.

| a van is not really a care I would advertise in the snow covered mountains. More like school parking lots, shopping malls :) great DOF and the exposure is right. |

Very nice composition and a great backdrop. Possibly could have done with a fractionally deeper dof as the rear end of the car seems slightly out of focus (and a bit dirty but only a mad person would suggest that you polished the car before the shot and after you had got to this location)

| for a real ad, the tyres would have been cleaned from the snow. otherwise well done, good color and choice of location. |

| Nice lighting. Also love the snow. A lot of car ad use snow, even if the car have noting to do with snow:) I'm not sure what I do not like, but it misses a little pizzaz for begin a car ad. Maybe it is all of the tire track's on the road? A good technical shoot IMHO 6 |
