Thanks to all for the comments! I agree that the houses were a distraction. This was sort of a last minute entry.

Ah, a suburban car :-) Nice angle and sky. I would clone out the distracting dark bits on the driveway, and maybe burn the lawns a little to give them more interest.

Nice. I don't know why this always escapes from people's eyes, the house on the front is too close the car, it's distracting. Other than that, very nice colors, softness, composition post process... everything else almost perfect to my taste :)

Nice tones and a good low angle. The car fits well in its environment. 8

I like the urban setting - the natural environment for this car.

Lovely: jelly bean curves vs traditional houses, splendid sky and BW. (And I'd buy if I could).

Pretty sky to complement a nice looking car. I think a bit sharper focus on the car and more shine would really bring out the car. In addition, the houses in the background a pretty large distraction to the shot. Lastly, I closer shot with more sky may have worked better without having to even move the car. By going wider angle but getting closer - we could get a sense of the big-ness of the car and see the nice lines that it has. Still - good work.

Good angle but would of liked to see a shallower DOF so some of that background was blurred out. The BW conversion is very flat, look at some of the tutorials on using Channel mixer to convert to BW to make it `pop` more.

Nice angle, but a little soft, and I find the houses distracting.

Great ad shot, just me, but I would have like to see more highlights. 9

this is really elegant and serene feeling photo. only thing i can "nit pick" is it needs a good sharpen. just feels a bit too soft for me. good luck

Lovely tones, good viewpoint - nice and low adds interest and gives the car more "authority" and makes for a more dramatic advert. Good sky, shame you have a relatively complicated background, would have been better if the buildings weren't there. Composition wise, you might consider placing the car more to the right to give it room to "move into" on the left hand side given it is pointing to the left. You have less space on the left currently than on the right and so it is almost "moving" out of the frame. Good job on remembering to get rid of the number plate.

If the houses in the BG weren't there, I think this shot would have been outstanding.

Super photo (so good in fact in terms of 'selling' the car that it made me go onto a website and see how much these cost...sadly I live in the UK and we apparently dont sell Camry's here)

Like the B&W conversion, though possibly the contrast levels could have been tweaked a touch

Super image that meets the challenge very well - 8

A classic angle but the background lets it down.

The Buick of Toyotas! LOL!!! Not a bad offering for an uninspired car. Well done......but it's still a Camry! LOL!!!

Nice BW, and cool sky. The buildings are a little distracting, so I would either try to hide them somehow, or crop them off. The hotspot on the car should be toned down in editing, and maybe bring up the brand logo, so it stands out more.

nice shot. I like the choice of B&W here, plays well with silver car. I would say the sky is slightly too dark on the top of the pic...(MO) but I like it.

Great shoot with a monochromatic B&W conversion. Very believable car ad. Love the sky as well. I'm not sure if I would have included the houses in the shoot. IMHO -7-
