 Took the photo with the help of a mirror..

Steps
-----

1. Slight Sharpening
2. Black and White conversion
3. Cloned out to remove an overhead hanging wire and few reflection spots from flash
4. Played around with Brightness/Contrast a little bit.
5. Slightly softened the image to get a glow feeling
6. Used Dodge/Burn slightly
7. Curves
8. Slight gamma correction (-0.2)

I tried the flipped version of this photo. It was not appealing to me. Again stuck at 5.*. I really look forward to that day when atleast one of my photos get a rating above 6.0 [:)]

You should have flipped the image so it doesn't look like you stuck the camera in the mirror.

Why amateur, because of the focus? Because, otherwise, the look, the result, the tools, look quite professional. Postprocessing as well.

I like the camera is the focus, it is so true for so many of us. Nice choice going with the black and white.

A very nice caption, fits with your photo ;) and it's a very nice photo, I like it. Technically very nice, little over done post process, blur on your hand... but nice photo overall :)
