Waiter! What's this fly doing in my soup?
Well sir, from here it would appear to be the backstroke.
Very nice detail on the wings and te edges of the tines. |

Good composition, and the lightine looks overexposed, but it is effective, I think. |

Nice detail and shallow DOF. The white BG works really well. Well done.
Keep it up... |

good idea but the details of the fly are completely lost in shadow. you may have intended the silouette effect but I think it just presents a dark blobby spot in the middle of the frame. I do like the details in the fork tines, though. |

Wonderful use of DOF - I really like how just the tips of the fork, the nearest prong and the fly are in sharp focus. Also a nice composition with really strong use of negative space. Like the black and white feel. |

Cool! I like the strong backlighting and silhouette a lot. So many people love to shoot forks, eh? |

Very original. I love the details and the use of negative space. |

Good depth of field - and strong graphic elements to this one; I do just feel that the halfway-to-silhouette of the fly seems a touch undecided - i'd either have lightened it or darkened it, myself. Excellent detail on the wings and the cutting of the tines. |
