I like the texture the paint adds to this picture and the facial expression is great. Getting tired of looking at bland facial expressions in this challenge.

its a good composition and lighting, my only problem is that there is no mid-tons what so ever. But it could be with what you have on yourself...or a over-sharpning stuff.

One thing for sure, that i would had added was a catch light in your eye.

A bit too dark for me, and I am sooo distracted by your photog. equipment reflection in your eyes, at least that's what I think I'm seeing.

Well I am really struggling with this shot. I get the feeling that it will be an image that people either love or hate. Technically I have to say that it looks far superior than anything I could do but the image itself seems to be caught in between two stools of a) being 'in your face' but b)not being in your face enough (almost as if it has been slightly tempered so as not to 'shock' the viewer and as a result is a little cold and clinical rather than emotional)

I have no doubt it will beat my own effort in the challenge and its a shot I really WANT to like but somehow cant.

Apologies if this seems somewhat incoherant, I guess I am just thinking out loud
